This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes the practices Sociabble (the “Company”, or “we”), publisher of the Sociabble platform, engages in with respect to the privacy of its users (the “User”, or “you”).

It applies to Sociabble web and mobile applications: and the “Sociabble” official application available in “Playstore” and “Appstore” (the “Services”).

Data Collection and Use

Data Collection

In order to inform a User or to register and link the User’s social media accounts to the Services, it is necessary for the Company to collect certain personal information. We collect this information to establish your identity when you fill out one of our forms (for example, the contact request form), when you log in to the application, to personalize your experience when you enter the application, to identify you with your company account, and any other information relevant to the Services.

In terms of the social network accounts connected to Sociabble, only temporary authorization tokens are stored on Sociabble. In no instance are social network account passwords stored on Sociabble. Sociabble also records the number of social network connections. However, Sociabble never records the contact information of Sociabble users’ social media connections.

Actions on social networks that are recorded include:

The content of the personal comments written by users when they share posts are not stored, unless requested by the client for legal reasons. For example, if a bank requires all actions to be traceable for auditing purposes.

Aggregate data, which contains non-personally identifiable information, may be used in order to provide an overview of the activity within the platform. This information may be available outside the platform, may be used by the Company to provide statistics on the platform, and/or may be sold to third parties.

The Sociabble platform requires a certain amount of personal user information. This data, as well as other information users may provide if considered appropriate, is used by Sociabble and the client’s chosen platform administrators.

Data is collected by Sociabble to allow for an efficient user experience when sharing on social networks, and to facilitate challenges, leaderboards, and statistics that allow clients to follow user activity on the platform.

How can users access, verify, correct, and if necessary, remove their personal information?

Users can access and modify their personal information and preferences, including name and surname.

They can at any time refuse the Company access to any of the social network accounts they have connected to the platform. This is a simple procedure that is carried out on the platform itself. The removal of the Sociabble application can also be carried out via the settings of any social network account.
For example, if you have authorized us to access your information via the YouTube API services, in addition to our normal procedure for deleting stored data, you may revoke our access to your data via the Google security settings page, located at

All statistics relating to user activity are visible on the personal dashboard. If a problem is detected, it should be transmitted to the platform administrator and support.
Users can request for their Sociabble account to be deleted at any time through their platform administrator and support. In such instances, the request is acknowledged in a timely manner and is made anonymous within 30 working days. Additionally, it may take up to 30 days for data to be completely cleaned off technical logs and data backups. An email is sent to users once the process is complete.

How long is data stored by Sociabble?

The data is stored by Sociabble for the duration of the client’s contract. At the end of the contract, personal data is made anonymous and connections to social network accounts deleted.

Once all data is cleaned, no reversal is possible.

Cookies and similar technology

Our services use cookies and other similar technologies, such as pixels or local storage, to help provide you with a better, faster, and safer experience.
Cookies are small files that websites place on your computer as you browse the web. Like many websites, Sociabble use cookies to discover how people are using our services and to make them work better.

Here are the cookies Sociabble uses to improve and secure your user experience:

A pixel is a small amount of code on a web page or in an email notification. As many services do, we use pixels to learn whether you have interacted with certain email content. This helps us measure and improve our services and personalize your experience.

Local storage is an industry-standard technology that allows an application to store information locally on your mobile device. We use local storage to customize, secure and improve your application.

Declaration of Confidentiality Relative to the Use of Google Analytics

The Sociabble site (the “Site”) uses Google Analytics, a Google Inc. website analysis service (hereafter referred to as “Google”) that uses cookies. The information generated by cookies concerning use of Sociabble is generally transmitted and recorded on the Google server in the United States. In the event of activation of the anonymization of the IP address on the Site, the user’s IP address will be abbreviated beforehand by Google within Member States of the EU or other members of the EEC.

The User’s IP address will only be fully transmitted and abbreviated by Google in the United States in exceptional cases. Upon authorization by the Site operator, Google will use this information to assess the User’s use of the Site in order to generate reports on user activity and provide other services linked to use of the Site and the internet for the Site operator. The IP address of the user’s browser transmitted in the context of Google Analytics is not linked to other Google data.
Users can prevent cookies from being recorded through a setting on their browser. They can also prevent general data being collected by the cookie related to use of the Site by Google (including IP address) as well as the processing of this data by downloading and installing the plug-in available via the following link:

Mobile devices

We may provide features that rely on the use of additional information on your mobile device(s) or require access to certain services on your mobile device(s) that will enhance your Sociabble experience but are not required to use the Service. (In other words, information that falls in the second category described in the Introduction to this Policy). For example, we may allow you to upload photos to create content or to your profile. Granting us access does not mean you are granting us unlimited access to that information or that we will access specific information without your action. To the contrary, for each type of information listed in this section, before we access this information or these features of your mobile device, we will ask for your permission. If you provide such permission, we will collect the information for the specific purposes explained at the time we ask for your permission. You do not need to give us such permission in order to use Sociabble, and acceptance of this Privacy Policy does not mean you have granted us permission to access this information.

Sub-processors and transfer to other countries

We may need to share your personal information and your data to our service providers solely for the purpose of providing Sociabble Services to the Users and customers. The purposes for which we may disclose your personal information or data to our service providers may include, but are not limited to: data storage, database management, email services, and web analytics. These service providers are authorized to use your personal information or data only as necessary to provide these services to us and this use is strictly controlled. In such cases Sociabble will also ensure that such affiliates, resellers, service providers, and business partners comply with this Privacy Policy Statement and adopt appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

Sociabble shares no personal information with third parties for any other meaning than defined in the data processing agreement.

Sociabble transfers, processes and stores information on servers located inside the European Economic Area. Sociabble may also share some information for specific services with other sub–processors located in the USA. All sub processors are carefully evaluated by Sociabble and are compliant with state of the art Security and Confidentiality Certifications (ISO 27001, ISO 27018 SOC2) and with the General Data Protection Regulation (Privacy Shield or EU Modal Standard Contractual Clauses).


The Company is committed to the privacy of its Users, and the safety of Users’ personal information. The Site uses reasonable measures to protect your personal information during transmission on the Services and to protect against the loss, misuse and access use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of that information. We will make legally required disclosures based on any perceived breach of security, confidentiality, or integrity of your personally stored unencrypted data without unreasonable delay.

Links to Other Websites, such as Blogs and Social Networks

The Services may contain links or references to other leading websites to which this Privacy Policy does not apply.

For instance, if you are choosing to connect your social networks to the Services, you are agreeing to provide information about you to the social networks under their respective terms and privacy policies. For example, if you choose to connect your YouTube account to the Services, this connection uses YouTube’s API services, and the Google Privacy Policy which can be found at will apply to you.

Article 1 – General Information

Sociabble SAS (“Sociabble”,“we”, “us” or “our”) is a company with a capital of 2 897 820 Euros, with its principal place of business at 22 rue Chapon 75003 Paris, France and registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 492 054 937.
These Sociabble software as a service terms of use (the “Terms”) are effective as of the date you (i) click a button indicating your acceptance of these Terms, or (ii) access or use the Services, whichever is the earlier. These Terms govern your access to and use of Sociabble’s internal and external communications software services purchased by your Organization.
The present Terms are governing, without prejudice of any applicable legal provisions, the use by any Users of the Services. Other terms may also apply to the use of such services to comply with the social networks’ applicable terms which you connect through the Services. These include for instance, the YouTube Terms of Service published at, the Twitter Terms of Service published at; the LinkedIn User Agreement published at; and the Facebook Terms of Service published at (as applicable).

Article 2 – Definition

Inappropriate Content: content which (a) is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, infringing, harassing or racially or ethnically offensive; (b) facilitates illegal activity; (c) depicts sexually explicit images; (d) promotes unlawful violence; (e) is discriminatory based on race, colour, gender, religious belief, sexual orientation or disability; (f) causes damage or injury to any person or property; or (g) infringe any patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret or other intellectual or proprietary right of any party.
Organization: means the organization which employs you, or engages you as agent consultant, or contractor and has subscribed to our Services.
Services: our internal and external communications software as a service offering made available to you to use in accordance with these Terms, including access to the Sociabble hosting platform, as may be amended from time to time.
Users: means any individual who is authorized by your Organization to use the Services, for whom a subscription to the Service has been purchased and an account created, and includes employees, agents, consultants and contractors.
Virus: any thing or device (including any software, code, file or program) which may prevent, impair or otherwise adversely affect the access to or operation, reliability or user experience of any computer software, hardware or network, any telecommunications service, equipment or network or any other service or device, including worms, trojan horses, viruses and other similar things or devices.

Article 3 – Services

Sociabble provides Services for the purpose of allowing you to communicate with your colleagues, to visualize the social media content of your Organization and to share it on your own social networks’ pages.
The Services do not include in any way the production and the direction by Sociabble of any content on your behalf.  

Article 4 – Conditions of access and use of the Services

4.1 Conditions of access

You must be an employee of or otherwise affiliated with the Organization to use the Service. You represent and warrant that you (a) are 18 or over, (b) have full power and authority to enter into these Terms, (c) do not have more than one account, (d) have not been previously removed or suspended from the Services, or engaged in any activity that could result in suspension or removal from the Services, and (e) are currently employed by or affiliated with the Organization.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account and account credentials including your password and must promptly notify us or your Organization if you discover or suspect that someone has accessed your account without your permission. You cannot permit others to access the Services under your account.

4.2 Conditions of use

You are solely responsible for your conduct while accessing or using our Services. You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations in connection with your use of the Services. In connection with any use of the Services, you will not:

Neither we nor your Organization shall be liable in any way whatsoever for any claims or losses, damages or costs arising out of: (a) your breach of these Terms; or (b) your acts or omissions, including without limitation any negligent or fraudulent acts or omissions by you in connection with your use of the Services; or (c) breach or violation by you of any applicable laws or rights of any third party.
In the event of breach of this article 4, or if your contractual terms with your Organization are terminated for any reason, both we and/or your Organization reserve the right, without liability or prejudice to our other rights, to disable your access to the Services.

Article 5 – Licences

You are hereby granted a limited, dismissible, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license of use of our Services.  Any right non explicitly granted to you is reserved by Sociabble.

Article 6 – Sociabble ownership

You acknowledge and agree that we and/or our licensors own all intellectual property rights in the Services and all related software and applications. Except as expressly stated herein, these Terms do not grant you any rights to, or in, patents, copyrights, database rights, trade secrets, trade names, trademarks (whether registered or unregistered), or any other rights or licenses in respect of our software, Services.

Article 7 – Liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty or support whatsoever except for any support we may offer at our discretion from time to time. We do not make any representations and disclaim all warranties, express, implied or statutory, including warranties, terms and conditions of merchantability, accuracy, correspondence with description, fitness for a particular purpose or use, satisfactory.

Article 8 – Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Sociabble, its licensors, its affiliates, directors or employees be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, use, data or other losses, that result from the use of, or inability to use, our Services. Under no circumstances will Sociabble be responsible for any damage resulting from hacking, tampering or other unauthorized access or use our Services or your account or the information contained therein. Our aggregate liability arising out of these terms will not exceed the amount paid by your Organization to us under the concerned quote during the twelve-month term during which the event giving rise to damage occurred.

Article 9 – Privacy Policy

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679, and by using the Services, you acknowledge, accept and agree with all provisions of the Privacy Policy as made available by us to you.

Article 10 –Term

These Terms are binding on you until your user subscription granted in accordance with the agreement between your Organization and us has expired or been terminated, unless earlier terminated if you are in breach of these Terms or if your contractual terms with your Organization are terminated.

Article 11 – Amendments of the present Terms of use

We may make changes to these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will provide notice of such changes, such as by one or more of the following sending an email notification, providing notice through our Services, or posting the amended Terms to our Services and updating the “Last Updated” date. Unless we say otherwise in our notice, the amended Terms will be effective immediately and your continued access to and use of our Services after we provide notice will confirm your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the amended Terms, you must stop accessing and using our Services.

Article 13 – Miscellaneous

If one of the provisions of the present Terms is declared invalid or non-invocable for any reason, the other provisions will remain applicable without any change.
The present Terms are subject to the French law. In case of dispute, the parties will seek an amicable solution before any judicial action. In case of failure of this attempt, any contestation of the validity, interpretation and/ or execution of the present Terms, including in case of plurality of defendants or in case of third party compensation, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
The present Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and prevail over any other prior agreements concluded between the parties relating to the subject matter of this agreement.
The parties are independent contractors and these terms do not create a partnership, franchise, joint venture, agency, fiduciary or employment relationship between them.
